Huaneng Lancang River Lidi Hydropower Station
Huaneng Lidi Hydropower Station is the third of the seven cascade hydropower stations planned for the upper reaches of the Lancang River. It is an important project for the country to implement the strategy of "transmitting electricity from the west to the east" and "developing the west". The construction of the hydropower station has opened up a 140 km long main transportation line along the Lancang River in the hinterland of the "three parallel rivers", and opened up an important passage from Yunnan to Tibet.
