Taikai Marks 10th Anniversary of Voluntary Blood Donation Initiative

To uphold Taikai's corporate mission of "Pursuing Excellence and Giving Back to Society," Taikai has organized annual voluntary blood donation campaigns every spring and early summer since 2016, making a meaningful contribution to public welfare in Tai'an. On May 15, the company held the 10th Anniversary Special Voluntary Blood Donation Event as part of its "Staying True to Our Original Aspiration and Supporting Employee Growth" series of activities.
The event officially began at 9:00 a.m., with the joint efforts of Taikai staff and the Tai'an Central Blood Station. Responding enthusiastically to the initiative, employees rolled up their sleeves and donated blood, demonstrating compassion and a shared commitment to saving lives.After more than two hours of voluntary donations, 63 employees successfully donated a total of 22,100 milliliters of blood. Over the past ten years, 1,560 employees have contributed a cumulative 531,700 milliliters of blood. According to estimates based on data from the Red Cross Society of China, these donations are sufficient to support approximately 1,063 medium-scale surgical procedures, bringing hope to countless patients and families while continuing Taikai's tradition of social responsibility and compassion.
To encourage greater participation and provide peace of mind for donors, Taikai has also introduced a new support initiative in collaboration with the Tai'an Central Blood Station. Employees who have donated blood through Taikai within the past five years and hold a valid electronic blood donation certificate will receive assistance if they or their immediate family members encounter difficulties obtaining blood for medical treatment. In such cases, Taikai and the Tai'an Central Blood Station will work together to coordinate emergency blood supply support, providing practical reassurance for employees committed to public service.
