Aksu North Substation in Xinjiang is carrying out comprehensive renovation and upgrading. In past substation upgrading projects, construction had to be carried out with the entire substation completely cut off from power. This not only slows down renovation progress and disturbs construction arrangements, but also causes inconvenience to local enterprise production and residents’ daily power consumption. To ensure smooth progress of the renovation project, Taikai’s 110kV mobile substation was delivered one month ahead of the scheduled timeline. It undertakes the key task of on-site power guarantee and stable power supply. Before the project started, all power loads of the original substation were stably transferred to the mobile substation, which supplies two-thirds of the electricity demand of Aksu and truly realizes renovation construction without power outage.

Featuring high integration and outstanding adaptability, this mobile substation can complete site installation, wiring commissioning and load transfer rapidly, thoroughly breaking the traditional constraint that substation renovation must be carried out under power outages. With stable operation and high power supply reliability, the unit ensures 24-hour continuous power delivery for the service area, providing favorable uninterrupted power supply conditions for on-site renovation and upgrading construction.

Taikai Group is listed in China Top 500 Private Enterprises and China Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises. Over more than 40 years, the group has focused on the power transmission and transformation industry. It offers one-stop integrated solutions. The services cover design, manufacturing, general contracting and operation & maintenance of transmission and transformation equipment up to 1000kV. Taikai customizes and optimizes mobile substations for vehicle mounting based on traditional substation equipment. The team conducts lean upgrades on primary equipment and secondary modules. It fixes common drawbacks of traditional mobile substations. These problems include excessive overall width, height and weight, poor road passing performance, long on-site commissioning time and low reliability of secondary systems before operation. This series of products supports voltage levels from 10kV to 220kV. It matches standard transformer capacities ranging from 5000kVA to 63000kVA. The unit can replace fixed conventional substations in emergencies and fits most conventional substation working scenarios.

Relying on the robust equipment strengths and mature construction schemes of Taikai’s 110kV mobile substation, the renovation and upgrading project of Aksu North Substation successfully achieves construction progress and power supply guarantee simultaneously throughout the whole process. The project efficiently advances core renovation tasks including substation equipment renewal, power grid hidden danger rectification and power supply capacity improvement, effectively enhancing the power supply stability and load bearing capacity of the regional power grid. Meanwhile, it ensures uninterrupted electricity supply for industrial, agricultural production and residents’ daily life within the jurisdiction during the entire construction period, minimizing the impact of power grid renovation on people’s livelihood and local economy. This project sets an excellent benchmark for regular non-outage renovation and efficient upgrading of aging substations within Xinjiang Power Grid.
