Taikai 750 kV Transformer Passes Passed National Technical Appraisal

On August 10, Taikai successfully obtained national new product certification for its independently developed 750kV single-column high-capacity auto-transformer. Expert evaluators unanimously confirmed the product's key technical parameters have reached world-leading levels, marking Taikai's new breakthrough in ultra-high-voltage transformer design and manufacturing.
Organized by China Machinery Industry Federation, the appraisal meeting gathered over 60 experts from prominent institutions including State Grid Corporation of China, China Southern Power Grid, Power Construction Corporation of China, China Electrical Equipment Industry Association, China Electric Power Research Institute, and Shenyang Transformer Research Institute, among others.
Taikai's technical team presented comprehensive reports covering R&D processes, test validation, technological novelty analysis, and economic assessments. Core innovations including partial discharge control, magneto-thermal collaborative optimization, short-circuit resistance enhancement, and anti-deflagration design received high acclaim from the expert panel. Following rigorous document reviews, site inspections, and Q&A sessions, the certification committee unanimously approved the product.
This milestone certification demonstrates Taikai's pioneering R&D capabilities in power transmission equipment manufacturing. Moving forward, Taikai will intensify technological innovation to deliver safer, more efficient, and smarter grid solutions.
