On May 11, the TAJIK-China Digital Business Connect Conference was grandly held in Beijing. Held against the backdrop of Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon’s state visit to China, the event gathered government and enterprise representatives from both sides to discuss cooperation and seek common development focusing on key sectors including the digital economy, energy and electric power.
Taikai Group dispatched a core business delegation led by Wang Rui, Deputy General Manager of the Group, to attend the conference. The team held targeted and in-depth business negotiations with Tajikistan’s TGEM Company. During the talks, Taikai fully presented its comprehensive portfolio of power equipment products, strong R&D and manufacturing capabilities, as well as complete project delivery and full-cycle service support systems. Both sides conducted in-depth discussions on cooperation models and project implementation details, reaching multiple cooperation consensuses. Three direct export projects were successfully finalized on-site, with a total contract value exceeding 30 million RMB.
At the event venue, SAFARI IKBOL, General Manager of TGEM Company, and Wang Rui jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation for the 250MW photovoltaic project in Tajikistan’s JAYHUN District and the GARBI Substation renovation project. The signing marks a brand-new stage of bilateral cooperation and lays a solid foundation for further in-depth collaboration across diverse fields.
Following the conference, SAFARI IKBOL formally invited Wang Rui and the Taikai team to conduct an on-site inspection tour in Tajikistan in late May. The visit aims to align practical cooperation demands, refine project implementation plans, expand cooperation scope and tap greater collaborative potential. It will further deepen pragmatic cooperation between Chinese and Tajik enterprises in the energy and power sector, and ultimately achieve mutually beneficial results and coordinated development for both sides.
